Description
Spinach microgreens are tender, nutrient-dense greens with a mild flavor. While they grow more slowly than other microgreens, they are packed with essential nutrients and are a favorite for health-conscious growers.

Optimal Growing Conditions
- Temperature: 15–22°C (60–72°F) – prefers cooler climates
- Light: Bright indirect sunlight or grow lights
- Environment: Indoor trays or shaded terrace/balcony spots
Seed Quantity:
12–15 grams per 10x10 inch tray
Harvest Time:
- Ready to harvest in 10–14 days after sowing (slightly slower grower).
- Harvest when the first true leaves appear and the cotyledons are firm and dark green.
- Ideal height: 2–3 inches tall.
Harvest Method:
- Use clean, sharp scissors or a knife.
- Cut just above the soil line, being careful not to disturb the growing medium.
- Handle gently — spinach stems are soft and bruise easily.
Post-Harvest:
- Remove any seed coats if attached.
- Rinse gently in cold water to remove any residue.
- Dry completely using paper towels or a salad spinner.
- Store in airtight containers at 4–8°C, stays fresh for 5–7 days when kept dry and cool.
